Kenneth Stevens
Managing Partner
Show Biojoined Leopard Capital in 2007 and has over 23 years of operational and investment experience in Southeast Asia. After serving as head of research and an investment banker at CLSA Securities in Thailand, he spent ten years managing proprietary private equity investments in Thailand and Vietnam serving as CFO, managing director and serving on their Board. Mr. Stevens' specific operational experience includes financial management; property construction and management; project design; and service businesses such as hospitality, leisure and recreation. He holds a Masters Degree in International Management from Thunderbird and a BA from Cornell University, and is a CFA charter holder.

Douglas Clayton
Managing Partner
Show Biooversees Leopard Capital’s investment activities and business expansion in pre-emerging economies. With 26 years of experience in frontier markets, Douglas is a commentator of the asset class at investment conferences, on financial television programs, and in print media publications. Prior to founding Leopard Capital in 2007 Douglas held senior executive positions at multi-national equities firms such as CLSA and Indosuez WI Carr, gaining frontline experience building and managing teams across Asia and Latin America. In 1999 Douglas founded Abacus Equity Partners which sourced and arranged two 10x private equity investments in two years. He is a Trustee of the Center for Khmer Studies and formerly served as Technical Advisor to the Director-General of Cambodia’s Securities & Exchange Commission. Douglas holds an MM from Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University and a BA in History from Cornell University.

Lawrence Mackhoul
Associate Partner
Show Biosas over 12 years of investment experience in emerging and developed markets. He joined Leopard Capital in 2009 as part of the Leopard Cambodia investment team. Lawrence later transitioned to the Leopard Capital Global team in order to spearhead the groups expansion into Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2012 Lawrence led the successful launch of the first private equity fund for Haiti, the Leopard Haiti Fund. Before joining Leopard Capital he managed a real estate investment portfolio which achieved a 26% IRR over a 6 year period. He commenced his professional career at the CNN headquarters in Atlanta and later gained experience in the hotel industry while working with Marriott International. He holds an MIM from Sorbonne Université an MBA from Georgia State University and certificate from COPPEAD (University of Rio De Janeiro).

Christopher Garnic
Investment Associate
Show Biowas previously a civil engineer at MWH Global, specializing in renewable energy, water, and wet infrastructure projects in the United States. He graduated from the Indian School of Business/London Business School exchange program (Finance), and earned a BSc (Biological Engineering) from Cornell University.

Reshma Alva
Sustainability Officer
Show Biohas over eight years of work experience in maximizing social impact. Reshma has worked in a variety of roles, including consultant, strategic planner, program manager, financier, and fundraiser in organizations focused on social finance, social services, governance, and capacity building. She earned a BA from the University of Michigan, an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Reshma is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French and Tulu.
