Leopard Capital manages investment funds in Asia’s frontiers. Founded in 2007 by Douglas Clayton, we are a partnership of 20 former chief investment officers, bankers, consultants, economists, lawyers, and entrepreneurs, each with decades of experience and contacts in emerging Asia.
In 2008 our Group launched Cambodia’s first multi-sector investment fund, Leopard Cambodia Fund, raising $34 million during the global financial crisis. The Fund targets market or segment leaders in basic industries such as financial services, consumer goods, and utilities. Thus far the Fund has made six investments covering banking, brewing, seafood processing, telecoms, electricity, and housing.
We are next preparing to launch Leopard Cam-Lao SME Fund, Leopard Bangladesh Fund, and Leopard Sri Lanka Fund -which will be advised by Jim Rogers, Marc Faber, and retired US Senator Larry Pressler. Read More ...
